Electric acoustic or Electric Resonator?

The resonator guitar is a very special type sound that is good for acoustic blues, and bluegr. It is hard to play lead on and is rather shrill if you play it plainly. I would advise you get the Fender and then later if you want to learn blues or bluegr or want a very special sound, get the resonator.
