Dedicating a song for her at homecoming?

So homecoming is in a couple of weeks and I have date that I really like and would like to actually have a relationship after the dance. I was thinking toward the end of the dance of having the DJ playing "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno mars and having it be dedicated to her from me and while we are dancing to it I would sing along with the song as if it was just for her. Does this seem like a good idea?
