Changing the length of wastgate actuator rod in rb 20 det?

Expermenting with actulator rod causing the exhaust waste gate to open causes exhaust to byp the exhaust turbine at lower RPM would cause less boost at higher RPM. Old school methiod is install small jets (pills) in the actulator hoses. Electronic waste gate control using a stepper motor is much better. But If you want to blow up the motor remove the actulator hoses or have one blow off. You will not hear the detonation in the motor only the white smoke after the spark plug tips and piston tops burn away.
