Need advise from someone very badly...?

Hi. Im new in America(barley a year) and had found a job, they hired me and i was to begin Feb.5. Now, i sprained my ankle while playing basketball 2 days prior to my work. i have no insurance and i didnt go to the dr. bec. i knew it was only a sprain. i called the company and they said to call them back once im already ok. so today a little after a month, i am already good to go although there are just very minor swelling around the ankle area(which is typical of a sprain that swelling could last sometime). but i can run with very minimal discomfort, in other words i can work already and do my activities of daily living w/out any problem. but the company needs a medical clearance from my doctor b4 they let me start. so my question is where and what type of doctor should i see and wat will i tel him/her and how much would it cost to get the medical clearance bec. if they are gona ask me for an x-ray and wont give me the clearance but have to pay bec. i had an apointment them then il look for another job bec. i dont want to waste my money on nothing bec. i know im already ok. any advice would be very helpful. thank you.
