Is it a bad omen to see a falcon / any bird of prey catch another bird?

I've seen the same falcon catch prey twice in basically the same area over the last month. Both times I saw it I was on my way back from an interview, and both times I did not get the position I wanted. I'm not usually superstitious but I thought this was pretty weird.
