Would a single man be friends with a married woman?

that met on vacation or can he be seeking more. Call and/or texting every week or two. He's in the UK, I'm in US. Calls are never inappropriate. I have a few married male friends through work and cherish their friendship. Husband knows about brit and doesn't care...laughs and says he lives in england. Going on for 6 months.
